IACP Analyzes Proposed FY 2008 Budget

According to analysis done by the IACP of President Bush's proposed FY 2008 budget, "overall, funding levels for the primary assistance programs that are designed to assist state and local law enforcement agencies in their efforts to combat crime and terrorism were reduced by nearly $1.6 billion, or 60%, when compared to FY 2007."
